As Aviatica learned, Ukrainian startup airline SkyUp decided to leave Kyiv – Belgrade route.

Flights between two capitals were established on 31 March, but demand was low, especially on Kyiv – Belgrade leg. Despite many Ukrainian media representatives who visited Belgrade on a first flight to promote the Serbian capital as a tourist destination, Ukrainian tourists were missed.

ADVERTISMENT

Flights to Belgrade have just been withdrawn from the SkyUp website, with the last one planned for 11 June, only two months after the launching of the route.

Two weekly flights were planned until the end of October. SkyUp was fought with a strong competitor Windrose, another Ukrainian airline, who keeps flying three times per week on the same route.
