Starting today, 17 February, flydubai (FZ) starts daily flights on its Dubai (DXB) – Belgrade (BEG) route.

Adding new flights on Monday and Wednesday, flydubai targets surprisingly high travel demand. Many Serbian travelers seek to escape from locked winter Europe and get some tan in the hot Arabian sun.

Dubai, one of seven emirates that are part of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), could be reached daily with 13.05 departure from Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport (FZ1746). Arrival at Terminal 3 of Dubai International Airport is scheduled for 21.20 local time.

On returning from Dubai to Belgrade, the flight is scheduled for 09.05 local time, and arrival will be 12.05 CET (Central European Time).

Belgrade is ready for 737MAX returning

flydubai’s been using its Boeing 737-800 aircraft for Dubai – Belgrade route since 737MAX had been grounded in March 2019. According to unofficial news from UAE, national aviation authorities are ready to clear MAX to return to the sky by the end of this month. Flydubai already received clearance by Serbian aviation authorities for using this aircraft type in Serbian airspace. We could expect MAX to be returned at Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport soon.

Boost for Maldives route

Indian archipelago nation, Maldives, has become very popular among Serbian travelers as it reopened recently for international travelers, unlike the others. Flydubai offers a very convenient connection to the Maldives from its hub in Dubai, which is now even better after more weekly flights are added to this route.
