According to Aviatica source, flydubai (FZ), based in Dubai, UAE, will fly on Dubai (DXB) – Ljubljana, Slovenia (LJU) route.
Starting on 24 September, three flights per week, on Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday, yet to be confirmed by officials.
Emirati airline has been in the Slovenian market for so long, thanks to its flight to neighboring Croatian capital Zagreb.
Future flights still haven’t been loaded into global reservation systems, but soon they will be available for booking. flydubai will codeshare its Ljubljana flights with partner airline Emirates, offering many connections through their joint hub at the Dubai International Airport.
Once very well presented in ex-Yugoslavian and West Balkan market, flydubai now flies only to Belgrade and Sarajevo. At the same time, other destinations are expected to be relaunched later due to pandemics. Zagreb will be served from 1 September, Skopje from 1 November and Montenegrin leisure destination Tivat will see flydubai’s Boeing 737-800 much earlier, from 25 June. Recently, flydubai begun direct service from Tirana, Albania, to Dubai with huge success.
